About Trevor C
Hi! I'm Trevor, a software developer who enjoys turning ideas into real, working applications, and I'm excited to help you discover what you can create with web development.
I work primarily with JavaScript, React, Next.js and TypeScript, and I've built projects ranging from interactive websites to applications that handle payments and real-world business processes. I've also had the opportunity to speak at GDG Miami and other tech events, sharing my knowledge and experiences with the developer community.
What I enjoy most about programming is that you can start with a simple idea and gradually turn it into something people can actually use. That's the approach I bring to learning: understanding why things work, practicing with real examples, and building projects rather than simply memorizing code.
Whether you're completely new to coding, learning HTML and CSS, working through JavaScript, or ready to build your first React application, I'll help you develop a solid foundation at a pace that works for you. My goal is to make technical concepts easier to understand, help you become more confident solving problems, and give you the skills to build things independently.
Outside software development, I enjoy writing, exploring new ideas, and learning how technology can solve everyday problems.

My lessons are practical, interactive, and focused on building real projects. I teach Python, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Nextjs, React, and beginner web development, breaking down complex concepts into simple explanations and hands-on exercises. Rather than memorizing code, you'll learn how it works, solve problems, and build projects step by step.
I have teaching experience from Radial Academy, where I taught Python, HTML/CSS, and Scratch, and I also tutor learners on AQskill, an educational technology platform in Nigeria. As a Software Engineering student and an active software developer, I bring practical industry knowledge into my lessons.
My classes are suitable for complete beginners, school students, teenagers, and anyone looking to develop their programming skills. Each lesson typically lasts 50–60 minutes, with time for explanations, coding practice, questions, and project work. I'll adapt the pace and exercises to your goals, helping you build confidence and become an independent problem-solver.
My aim is for you to leave every session having learned something useful and made real progress on a project.
