About Zach
I am a certified classroom teacher in Washington with experience in classrooms in the Puget Sound region. I have a bachelor's degree in Physics, and a masters in teaching. Passing on knowledge about the world and helping students earn confidence are my passions.
Teaching math and science in a way that builds lasting understanding and confidence with those subjects is particularly important to me because of how important they are to understanding our world, and they are only becoming more important.

I'm all about being flexible and teaching however I can that works best for my students. Lessons center on a few related learning targets (for example,: learning the definition of a vector and calculating vector components), with some practice problems prepared as well. How we get to the learning targets depends on what works best for you; I like to teach by demonstration, conversation, practice, and tangible examples.
I teach math and science for middle school, high school & 1st year college, specializing in physics.
