As a tutor, my approach is student-centered and tailored to each learner’s goals, pace, and learning style. I aim to make lessons engaging and practical by breaking down complex ideas into simple parts, using real-life examples and interactive techniques. Lessons typically last at least 1 hr and include a balance of language input (grammar, vocabulary) and output (speaking, writing), with consistent feedback to track progress. I have experience tutoring children between 9-12yrs old, including beginners to intermediate Mandarin learners, and I enjoy helping students build confidence in both academic and conversational settings.
