About Sarah

Hi! I’m Sarah, a native Chinese speaker with a degree in Chinese Literature and over five years of teaching experience. Currently, I teach at a community language school, helping students of all ages develop their Chinese skills.

Whether you're a beginner starting from scratch, a child learning Chinese as a second language, or an adult preparing for travel to China, I can tailor my lessons to your needs. I focus on all aspects of language learning—listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

I have always loved reading and running, and my passion for Chinese language and literature has been a big part of my life. Coming from a family of educators—my mother is a Chinese teacher in a primary school—it felt natural for me to start teaching school-aged children Chinese in Sydney. Teaching allows me to share my love for the Chinese language with learners of all ages. I enjoy creating engaging and interactive lessons that help students develop confidence and fluency while also appreciating the beauty of Chinese culture.
