About Khadija

I am Khadija Bakhtawar, a dedicated chemistry graduate with a strong academic record and a passion for teaching. Alongside my research expertise in synthetic organic chemistry—particularly in chalcone derivatives, Suzuki coupling, and photophysical studies—I have extensive experience in guiding and mentoring students. As a teaching assistant during my coursework, I supported laboratory sessions, explained complex concepts in simple terms, and helped students develop confidence in their problem-solving skills. I actively create a positive learning environment, encouraging questions, discussion, and curiosity. Beyond formal teaching, I volunteer to guide students in academic planning, experimental design, and career development. I take pride in making learning engaging, accessible, and inspiring for every student I work with.

About the lesson

My MSc in Chemistry, research in organic synthesis and photophysical studies, and experience as a Teaching Assistant at LUMS allow me to give practical insights alongside theory.
