About Mark

Hello! I’m Mark Pembroke, a dedicated chemical engineer with a passion for helping students thrive in mathematics. With years of experience applying math in both academic and real-world engineering settings, I bring clarity and purpose to every session. I work with learners of all levels to strengthen their foundation, boost confidence, and unlock new academic potential. Whether it’s understanding algebraic formulas, mastering calculus concepts, or preparing for standardized exams, I aim to simplify complex topics and make math enjoyable and approachable.

About the lesson

My lessons are carefully designed to meet the needs of each student—fostering problem-solving skills, encouraging critical thinking, and ensuring lasting academic growth. Here’s what I cover:

-Algebra: From basic operations to polynomials, linear functions, and word problems
- Geometry: Visual reasoning, theorems, coordinate geometry, and shape properties
- Trigonometry: Sine, cosine, tangent, and their real-world applications
- Calculus: Differentiation, integration, limits, and optimization problems
-Statistics: Data handling, probability, regression, and interpreting results

Sessions also include exam prep strategies, assignment support, and conceptual reinforcement. I adapt my teaching style to match each student’s learning pace—whether you prefer visual breakdowns, step-by-step drills, or application-based methods.
