About Shivanand
Hello, I am Sivanand Palani, a finance professional and passionate educator with a strong academic foundation as a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Law Graduate, M.Com (Accountancy), and BAF graduate, currently working as an AVP with Deutsche Bank and having prior experience with Morgan Stanley in the Prime Brokerage division. Over the years, I have developed deep expertise in financial reporting, product control, auditing, and complex financial products, which I bring into the classroom to make concepts practical and industry-relevant for students. My teaching journey includes working as a Professor at StudyLink Commerce Classes, where I teach Cost Accounting & Management, Financial Management, Accounting, and Advanced Accounting to CS Executive and CA Inter students, and as a Visiting Faculty at SIES College of Commerce & Economics, where I taught GST to T.Y.B.Com students. I cleared UGC-NET with a 99.63 percentile, which reflects my strong inclination towards academics and my commitment to maintaining high standards in teaching and learning. In every lecture, the focus is on clarity of concepts, exam-oriented structuring, and linking theoretical topics with real-world corporate experiences. Beyond academics, I have an active co-curricular profile—I was a finalist on the reality show “India’s Got Talent” (Season 4), have performed in a television advertisement, and regularly participated in college cultural events, debates, quizzes, and dance competitions. These experiences help me keep my classes engaging, interactive, and relatable, while also encouraging students to develop confidence, communication skills, and a well-rounded personality alongside academic excellence
