About Theresa
I am an English teacher. I have a Secondary English (Grades 7-12) certification in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. My major in college was English Literature, and I have four years experience as a teacher. Prior to switching to education, I worked in book publishing.

I work with students ranging from 7th grade-adult, regardless of their current reading comprehension level. Additionally, I am able to work with students who have IEPs at school or specific learning challenges.
My overall goal for each student would be to help them build their skills.
If you are looking to generally build the students' skills, we would start by evaluating their current reading comprehension and writing skills. Based on this information, we would build a plan together, outlining our goals on a timeline.
If there are specific skills a student wants to work on, or simply needs help writing a particular paper, we can do this as well.
Each lesson will be individualized to the students and their needs.
