Elias has taught my son cello for over a year. He is a truly wonderful teacher and my son has excelled and developed further his love of his instrument. During this time Elias has taken my son through his ABRSM exams, furthermore he has given advice on suitable a replacement cello as he outgrew his 1/2 sized moving to a 3/4.

The change in his play has been remarkable under his tutelage; learning different techniques to improve his bow hold and fingering but Elias has also been a wonderful support in advancing his understanding of theory.

Elias is clearly a talented teacher but also kind with my son. I’m so pleased to have found a highly emotionally intelligent guide for my son’s musical journey: I really cannot recommend him highly enough.

I enjoy my lessons with Elias so much, as an ‘older’ adult learner, he is definitely the best teacher I have had and our lessons are productive but also great fun. He is very patient and creative in the ways he helps me to gain understanding and master a technique. He is always thinking of ways to help me learn and I can see that his students, no matter their age and ability, are all treated as important to him, as unique individuals, no matter their level. After a lesson with Elias, I always believe I can improve and love playing just a little bit more!
