About Millie
Hi, I'm Millie! I recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences.
I have extensive experience in tutoring a range of subjects - most notably, English, Humanities and Oxbridge Admissions. I have also spent time abroad teaching English as a Foreign Language to students in China and Spain, as well as providing university admission advice and Oxbridge interview practice to international students. I am a trained personal statement coach for both UCAS applications and the American Common Application.
I have a real passion and love of learning, which I like to communicate through to my students. My teaching-style is predominantly knowledge-led: my aim is to build a solid foundation of the core knowledge required for the subject, before building upon and analysing this through the development of key critical thinking skills. I am also a highly skilled essay writer, and have experience with helping students structure coursework essays and dissertations, along with exam essay writing practice.

Perfect! Very well structured and highly prepared lessons
My daughter has been taking her lessons about a month so far and continuing. My daughter is very happy for her lessons and she is getting much help to prepare her A-level exam. Mostly she got an essay feedback for improving her essay writing skill and adding knowledge related to her essay. Millie has very much and well prepared lessons and very helpful feedback. Highly recommended.

Millie was absolutely great with my daughter. My daughter found the lessons interesting and the methods were very effective. Millie was also always well prepared(which was not the case with all tutors). Highly recommended.
Millie helped me understand Politics a lot better. If you struggle with the subject, you would find her really helpful.
