About Menelaos
I am a 24 year old chanter who leads since 6 years a choir of a church. I studied near Dramian Chanter David Papadopoulos. Besides my expertise in Byzantine Music I also have wide vocal, instrumental and theoritical experience in European classical music and vocal technique

We can focus on theory or practice depending on interest. We learn modes/systems, history and the tradition of the Eastern Christian music. I provide material for beginners with well conceptualized exercises.
We learn christian hymnography and take a look into neighbouring musical systems like the Arabic-Persian one

Der Unterricht bei Menelaos ist sehr professionell und macht sehr sehr Spaß. Es herrscht eine schöne Arbeitsatmosphäre und Menelaos ist ein freundlicher, geduldiger Lehrer. Kann ich echt nur weiterempfehlen!
Menelao ist kompetent und noch dazu sehr sympathisch, er ist super im erklären. Er gestaltet das Lernen so, dass es leichter fällt. Ein sehr kompetenter Lehrer, den ich wärmstens empfehlen kann.

As someone who has known him and been learning from him for years, his knowledge stretches over many fields and he can cover the same topic from different perspectives. He specializes with many genres, styles and cultures of music. He is truly a great teacher!
