About Ersin
I'm passionate about making business studies accessible, relevant, and engaging for every student I work with. I hold a PGCE in Business Studies and a degree in Business Computing, giving me both the pedagogical expertise and deep subject knowledge to support your learning effectively. With over seven years of teaching experience, including time at a selective grammar school, I've had the privilege of helping students at all levels develop their understanding of business concepts and achieve their academic goals. What sets my teaching apart is that I've lived the subject matter. Before and during my teaching career, I've held leadership positions in the business world, which means I can connect classroom theory to real-world practice. This experience allows me to bring authentic examples and insights into our lessons, helping you see how business principles actually work beyond the textbook. My approach is straightforward: I focus on building your confidence and understanding, tailoring lessons to your individual needs and learning style. As a current Business teacher, I bring real classroom expertise directly to your one-to-one sessions. My teaching is exam oriented and designed to build subject knowledge and competence in exam structure for Business Studies. I specialise in exam technique. Lesson Structure My typical lessons run for 60 minutes and follow a proven structure: quick recap and knowledge check, teaching new content with clear explanations, guided practice with exam-style questions, and independent work with feedback. Every session is tailored to your individual needs within the Edexcel curriculum My lessons are for Edexcel GCSE and A Level Business students who want to maximise their grades. Whether you're struggling with specific topics, aiming to move from a grade 5 to a 7 in GCSE, or targeting that A/A* for A-Level, I adapt my teaching to meet you where you are and push you forward. With active teaching experience, I know exactly what's on the current specification, how exams are marked, and where students typically stumble.
