About the lesson

Reading Biology and chemistry has always been a passion of mine.

I am currently tutoring kids from ages 13-16. Most of the kids I tutor are part of the new GCSE syllabus, which means I have a detailed understanding of what their syllabus includes and requires from them. Tutoring at fine tutors also meant that I was tutoring kids from various exam boards and therefore I am able to adapt my scientific knowledge to different exam boards such as AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR, WJEC etc. This has helped me to gain a stable clear understanding of the GCSE Biology requirements as well as provide me with different materials for the tutoring session.

I understand that everyone is different in the way they learn and being someone who had to experiment with different revision techniques, I think it is important that your child finds a tutor who is willing to adapt their teaching techniques according to the technique well suited for you child.

My teaching focuses on making the fundamental concepts of biology and GCSE clear and understandable based on the type of learner they are. For example, if your child is a visual learner, I will make sure my session is full of graphs and diagrams that will help them understand the key information of the topics. At the end of each lesson, i will give your child an exam based on the topic they covered,which I will inform you their results, in order to see what their strengths and weaknesses are on that topic to make sure that we cover their weaknesses again the next lesson until they have a strong and clear understanding of that topic.

Whether your child is a visual, auditory, reading/writing or kinesthetic learner I will make sure that my lessons are full of ways that will help them expand their scientific knowledge and make sure to push them to their very best ensuring that they achieve their best. I can ensure you that your child will be receiving a worthwhile session that will help them achieve beyond their target grade
