About Siya
I am a Biology tutor with over nine years of teaching experience and hold an MSc in Biotechnology. My passion lies in marine biology, particularly the unique and mysterious ecosystems of the deep sea. I enjoy guiding students through the wonders of hydrothermal vents, bioluminescence, and the extreme adaptations of deep-sea organisms. In my lessons, I focus on helping learners understand the biodiversity and ecological processes that thrive in these extreme environments. I explain the challenges of ocean exploration and how scientists study life in the depths. My teaching combines clear explanations, engaging examples, and discussions to make complex concepts accessible. I work with students who are curious about marine ecosystems, oceanography, and environmental science. Together, we explore the adaptations that allow life to survive under immense pressure, darkness, and nutrient scarcity.
