About Christina
I am currently a PhD candidate in Applied Linguistics at a UK university and a qualified Mandarin teacher with many years of teaching experience at several Chinese schools in the UK. I am passionate about creating a joyful and supportive learning environment and deeply care about each student’s learning experience. I strongly advocate interactive approaches in Mandarin teaching, with a particular emphasis on teacher–student and student–student interaction. Making my classes engaging and enjoyable is a central goal of my teaching. Seeing my students smile while gaining new knowledge of the Chinese language and culture brings me great satisfaction and happiness.
