About Fanny
I am a qualified French linguist, specialized in translation, but I also teach French to numerous students from all levels. I always try and make the class interesting by balancing theory and practice and by ensuring that what I teach is understood and assimilated at each step before introducing new content. The students are encouraged to produce written compositions (optional) which we correct together, and to express themselves in French when they wish to. My main goal is to progressively make the students more confident in their ability to master the language, in a relaxed environment.

During the 1 hour lesson, for written French, I establish a basic grammar base that is reinforced with vocabulary, through texts, exercises, written submissions, images and games. For oral French and pronunciation, I choose texts/situational dialogues at the appropriate level as a basis for conversations. I have worked for the Alliance française and have regular students/adults from all ages and levels.
