About Madiha
Hi, I’m Madiha, a student with experience supporting younger students with GCSE, 11+, SATs and UCAT preparation.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I like to make lessons comfortable so students feel confident asking questions. I adapt my teaching to each student and focus on helping them properly understand what they are learning.
Outside of studying, I enjoy boxing, which has taught me discipline, patience and consistency. I enjoy helping students build confidence and reach their goals.

I like to keep my lessons friendly, relaxed and focused on what the student actually needs. I don't want students to feel like they are just memorising information, so I focus on making sure they understand the topic and feel confident applying it themselves.
I usually start by finding out what the student already knows and which areas they find difficult. From there, I explain the topic clearly, break harder questions into smaller steps and then work through examples together. I also use practice questions and exam-style questions so students can get used to applying what they have learnt. I encourage students to ask questions whenever they are unsure rather than feeling embarrassed about making mistakes.
Lessons are typically around 1 hour, although this can be adapted depending on the student's age, level and needs.
I also have experience with supporting younger students and running educational sessions. I have helped students with areas including 11+ and SATs preparation, as well as UCAT preparation. Through this experience, I have developed a patient and encouraging approach and understand that different students learn in different ways.
My lessons are suitable for younger students preparing for 11+ or SATs, as well as GCSE and A-level students who want additional support with their studies. I aim to make each lesson useful, engaging and tailored to the individual student rather than using exactly the same approach for everyone.
