About Guadalupe

My name is Guadalupe, I come from Salamanca in Spain and I live in the UK. I am a linguist which it means I am a a Spanish language teacher, tutor and translator and also, when everything goes back to normality, I hope to work as a IGCSE exams assessment Specialist.

During all these years I have worked with many students and I must say that, I do not recall having any negative experience.

I always keep up to date with all the changes in the syllabus, exams requirments, technology available and I do Professional Development every year in the GCSE and A Level programs. I am very familiar with the main examining boards (AQA, EDEXCEL, IGCSE Cambridge, Pre U Cambridge).

I am also up to date on Safeguarding Children training and I meet all the legal requirements for working with vulnerable people.

About the lesson

Most lessons are one hour duration, in a one-to-one tuition session. For the GCSE and A level students it is neccessary to follow the topics included in the syllabus and to work on the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills as well as the grammar, in order to achive the best result for every student.The same method is used for students taking the DELE.

Any adult student wanting to learn the language at their own pace, will have a course designed to meet their objectives and achived independence use of the language right to finally, mastery level.

I use all types of advance technology as a teaching resource, like PP, video, music, Online news, films, literature, history. Learning a language is definitely lots of fun, nowdays!

I have been teaching for more than 20 years at all levels, in teaching instituions and as a private tutor, and for, basically, almost any purpose. My students generally start from the GCSE age group up to adult students with not age limit.

I am a Chartered Linguist by CIOL with a MA in Translation and a CLTA Teaching qualification and I am also a Cambridge IGCSE Assessment Specialist.
