About Duncan
I started teaching after being made redundant. An old friend was head of science at a local secondary school and suggested I take a look. His job seemed much more interesting than I had imagined when I was a student and after many years the thrill of helping students and responding to their , often random seeming, questions has yet to diminish.

Tutoring is intended to boost rather than replace what is covered in schools. If you want to know more than the national curriculum offers, or need to develop your exam technique, I can offer my extensive industrial experience, twenty six years of teaching and tutoring, and twenty years of exam marking.
