About Nicole
I took Organic Chemistry at UC Davis and throughout each of the three quarters, I placed in the top 95% of the class. From going to office hours and strenuously studying the material, I gained a solid understanding of the concepts that allowed me to tutor from then until I graduated UC Davis with my Bachelors in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I was trained by our university's tutoring center as well as took a course provided on enforcing proactive and efficient tutoring skills. Throughout my time at Davis, I tutored all three different organic chemistry courses we offered: general, for the health sciences, and for engineers.
One of the most rewarding experiences during my time in undergrad was being able to help fellow students master organic chemistry. While it can be a formidable topic at times, I believe that by breaking it down and approaching those challenging concepts with a goal of understanding the foundations can greatly benefit students and make them succeed in their courses!

I have tutored in-person and online for the past 5 years through UC Davis as well as independently, and I have learned how best to review and explain challenging chemistry topics.
