About Mahmood

I have 35+ years of Maths tutoring experience. My students have had successful academic and professional careers in engineering, medicine, law, English, military, psychology, computer science and software engineering. I can assess you, agree a rigorous plan with you for improvement and hard work based on assigned homework. Together shall we succeed!

About the lesson

I have a PhD in software engineering, a Masters in computer science and a UK-equivalent BA in Maths. My methodology is based on the belief that hard work is the key to success. I'll assess the student and agree a plan to work with the student. I'll assign extra work and success will depend only on hard work from myself and the student.

A reflective student who is always thinking how to improve, and this is the basic quality needed to improve and prepare for the top grade. The lesson was based on assessing her through a past paper and this revealed many positive qualities which she can use to maximise her success with some extra practice work.
