About Christopher

I am christopher, I am uk resident, but most of my later years 18+ i have lived and worked in China
I am 60 and with boyish view of life, i keep fit with TAICHI, SPEAK MANDARIN, and love to express my thoughts via social media like Facebook 3 pages, Youtube Channel, Blog writer, Ex Business man in B2C, exporter and office manager in China.
My Mantra is to keep learning, dont set limits or boundaries on capabilities, If you think it and research it then go do it, loosing face is not loosing your life! get up and start again, remember nothing changes with out making changes.

I persued teaching in china ifor international schools like English first, attained my Tefl certification again this year!
Blogged and write articles while also in China not because i had the skills, but because i wanted to extend my interests, skillset and exercise my need to express and be creative. Age is not a limiter, but by not exercising your options big or small is a limiter. We all have potential more than we beleive or know, so understanding yourself and acting to achieve an outcome is where it starts, failure is not the end in fact it is the building block to many celebrities and professionals including businessmen, they all suffered failures reaching their
goals achievements and prosperous lifestyles. So are you going do as i did? take all opportunities and not look back, because the journey and experience is more than the outcome im many cases

About the lesson

As both Latin American born and an expat in China, I appreciate the difficulties and hurdles faced by non-native speakers, I myself learned English and Mandarin.
Its all a learning curve that each of us take and asorbing at varing levels towards our competency and fluency.

The nauances that eludes non-native conversations,the colloqual accents and euphemisms, the slangs and speed of delivery when talking during simple daily life encounters.

Appeciating that your speed, enuncation and even emphasizing words, and sentences you know are falling short of your intentions and expectations with ''frown' or ''can you say that again'' responses from natives?

I had to learn that the hard way with English elecution lessions several times per week, When I arrived to the uk and beginning school.

You feel embarrased even prefer to not be as expressive as you know you are able in your native tongue.

It's a set back that can ruin your progress and potential While in that country even as far as preventing you reaching the aims you are working toward.

I am not saying it will be 'easy peasy' But with coaching and some application on your part, i am saying that i can help you to assimilate, dessiminate via my experiences, that will help to overcome that problem.
