About Drew
I am a French tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Education in French as a Second Language. Teaching complete beginners is where I truly shine, and I pride myself on being patient, approachable, and even a little humorous. I believe learning French should be fun, not stressful, so I bring energy and creativity into every lesson. I use games, skits, flashcards, and storytelling to make grammar and vocabulary come alive. These techniques help students remember new words and structures while enjoying the process. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each learner’s pace, making it easy to build confidence step by step. I have helped many students gain the courage to speak French in everyday situations, from ordering at a café to chatting with locals. Watching learners transform from hesitant speakers to confident communicators is the most rewarding part of my work. I focus on creating a warm, supportive environment where mistakes are celebrated as part of learning.
