About Cade
I am a husband, father, published author, and a dedicated Exceptional Education Teacher. My journey to education has been unique, giving me a wide range of tools to help students succeed. Before entering the classroom to teach grades 6–8, I worked as a Certified Forensic Investigator and was even named "Detective of the Year". This background taught me how to identify the root cause of a problem—a skill I now use to help students unlock their academic potential. In addition to my teaching certification, I hold a B.S. in Business Management (Summa Cum Laude) and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. When I’m not coaching students on executive function or writing, I can be found working on my own fiction or spending time with my family. I believe every student learns differently, and I am committed to finding the method that works for yours

We’ll find the "why" behind the missing assignments. Many students are capable of doing the work, but they get stuck on the "how"—how to start, how to organize, and how to turn it in. As a Certified Forensic Investigator turned Special Education Teacher, I use a unique investigative approach to academic coaching. I don't just tell students to "focus"; I investigate the specific barriers in their environment and workflow that are blocking success. My Approach: * Executive Functioning: I build customized systems for organization and task initiation that fit your child's brain, not a one-size-fits-all planner. * Skill Building: We will master research-backed study strategies like the Cornell Method and active recall to boost retention. * Accommodations: If your student has an IEP or 504, I am experienced in ensuring those accommodations are actually working for them in their daily routine. My goal is to work myself out of a job by giving your student the tools to be independent.
