About Oscar
I am an enthusiastic Saxophone tutor with 10 years of professional teaching experience and a successful track record of guiding around 150 students. I am passionate about helping students discover their musical abilities and grow step by step.
My teaching method emphasises building a strong technical base. I train students in breathing techniques, embouchure control, tone improvement, articulation, and rhythm exercises. I also integrate scales, chord understanding, and music theory to strengthen overall musicianship.
I introduce students to various genres such as jazz, blues, classical, and contemporary music. This exposure helps them become versatile performers. I also encourage improvisation to develop creativity and confidence.
My unique strength is creating a positive and motivating learning atmosphere. I focus on both discipline and enjoyment so that students remain inspired throughout their musical journey.

I follow a systematic and motivating methodology while teaching Saxophone, based on Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I start with breath exercises and long tones to develop a strong and stable sound. Once the basics are established, I introduce scale studies, articulation patterns, rhythm exercises, and performance pieces.
I explain the purpose of each exercise clearly so students understand how it improves their playing. Weekly practice plans and performance goals help maintain accountability. I track progress consistently and provide constructive suggestions.
Integrity in my teaching means honest evaluation and patient guidance. Along with Saxophone, I teach Music Theory, Jazz fundamentals, Improvisation basics, and Stage Performance skills to develop confident musicians.
