About Anliya

I’m a high school English honors student with a deep love for language as a powerful tool for expression. I believe that fluency in language is the foundation of understanding and communication in all aspects of life. I’ve always had a strong grasp of English grammar and the emotions it conveys. In fact, as a seventh grader, I scored at a 10th-grade literacy level on standardized testing and was honored with an award in front of my peers. My accomplishments in English have not only deepened my understanding of the world but have also inspired me to learn two additional languages. I am currently studying Korean and Spanish, with the goal of becoming a polyglot by the time I graduate. My proficiency in English has been instrumental in helping me navigate and appreciate the details of these languages, as well as the cultures they represent. Currently I attend a Career and Technical Academy in Nevada studying medical professions.

About the lesson

MIDDLE SCHOOL - ELEMENTARY ENGLISH TUTORING. As a student myself, I’ve learned that one-stop learning—such as note-taking and reading—doesn’t teach or reinforce; it only introduces. I’ve also realized that practice doesn’t make perfect, but it does build eloquence. Through my experiences, it has become evident that the methods most commonly used by tutors or teachers are often the most confusing and frustrating for students. For my students, I’ve developed a system that not only moves away from these outdated and ineffective practices but also serves as a safe and reliable framework for learning, retaining, applying, and improving. Learning the fundamentals and nuances of how to read, write, and comprehend doesn’t just prepare your child to excel in English—it equips them to better understand the world around them. With my guidance, that world will no longer feel like a mystery but a puzzle waiting to be solved. My lesson plans are tailored to each student, as every individual learns differently. Each lesson is designed to build on your child’s strengths and areas of familiarity while addressing their weaknesses by leveraging those strengths. In my lessons, the most important focus is always on understanding and consistent practice.
