About Maelie
My journey with Excel began when I realized how it could simplify complex tasks and make data-driven work more effective. What started as curiosity turned into a professional passion as I discovered how powerful Excel could be for organization, business, and analytics. Over the years, I've taught students, professionals, and entrepreneurs how to harness its potential to make their work smarter, faster, and more accurate. I believe in teaching through practice and real-world context. My approach combines clarity, patience, and creativity—I show students that every Excel feature has a purpose and can be mastered through understanding, not memorization. Whether creating reports, managing finances, or building automated systems, I help learners develop a sense of confidence and control with every new concept mastered. Outside teaching, I work on data analysis projects and continually explore new tools and integrations that expand Excel's capabilities. For me, teaching Excel is about empowerment—it's about helping others gain skills that open doors to better organization, smarter work, and greater professional success.

Excel is more than just a spreadsheet—it’s a powerful tool that transforms data into insight and ideas into results. My lessons are designed to help students move beyond formulas and grids, developing confidence in analyzing, organizing, and presenting information effectively. I begin each session with real-world scenarios, demonstrating how Excel can streamline tasks, improve efficiency, and support smarter decision-making in any field.
My classes are structured for different skill levels. Beginners learn to navigate Excel confidently, mastering formulas, charts, and formatting. Intermediate learners explore functions, pivot tables, and data validation, while advanced students tackle automation through macros and VBA scripting. Each lesson builds progressively, emphasizing clarity and real application over memorization. Students learn by doing—analyzing data sets, creating dashboards, and automating repetitive tasks.
By the end of my lessons, students gain not only technical proficiency but also problem-solving independence. My goal is to transform Excel from a daunting program into a creative, empowering tool that helps learners think analytically, work efficiently, and succeed professionally.
