About Lena

I hold a B.Com in Information Systems and an M.Sc in Business Analytics, with 11 years of experience teaching Excel to students and professionals from diverse backgrounds. My academic and professional journey helped me understand how data tools support efficiency, clarity, and informed decision-making across industries. My teaching style is patient, structured, and highly practical. I take time to understand each learner’s goals, whether academic or professional, and adapt lessons accordingly. I believe confidence in Excel grows when learners clearly understand each function’s purpose and application. Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with data analysis through continuous learning, real-world data projects, and tool refinement. Teaching Excel is fulfilling to me because I see learners gain confidence, independence, and practical skills that immediately enhance their productivity and decision-making ability.

About the lesson

Excel becomes powerful when students understand how data can be organized, analyzed, and interpreted efficiently. My lessons focus on building practical spreadsheet skills through clear explanations and hands-on practice. I guide learners to understand not only how functions work, but why they are useful in real-world tasks and decision-making.

Students begin with core skills such as data entry, formatting, formulas, and basic functions. As confidence grows, lessons expand into advanced functions, logical formulas, charts, pivot tables, data validation, and basic automation techniques. Each lesson includes guided exercises to ensure learners feel comfortable applying skills independently.

Excel lessons also develop accuracy, organization, and analytical thinking. Over time, students become more confident managing data, solving problems, and presenting information clearly. My goal is to help learners feel empowered using Excel as a practical and valuable professional tool.
