I am very new to tutoring, I am unable to provide a portfolio although, I have aided friends and family in better understanding this period and have taught them how to write effectively, after my help they all received 2:1 grades in their essays.

I am a history graduate, specialising in German history but with a keen knowledge in other early modern areas. I will be offering an arena for a debate, based on readings that will be provided. This would be an opportunity to expand your knowledge and understanding of this period, assisting you in writing a great essay. I will also talk through academic writing, and offer advice on where to locate sources. I'm a laid back person, focusing more upon the social effects of history and would be encouraging you to not base history on assumptions. The lesson structure will consist of discussing readings, in debate form, perfecting timelines and developing upon writing styles for essays.
