About Mark
Hello and thank you for stopping by.
I am from Liverpool, U.K. A British born citizen. I am a dedicated TEFL teacher with 9+ years of experience. I have taught students of all age's, levels and backgrounds. Originally I taught in classrooms within the Hsinchu area of Taiwan, teaching Kindergarten students to high school students before also taking a private tutoring role in teaching adults. Also during my time in Taiwan I undertook a volunteer role of educating the troubled youth within the Zhubei district.
From there I moved to Hong Kong as a private tutor for home schooled students and worked in a cram school of the evening owned by a friend before moving back to the U.K. Once back home I took up an online teaching position of which allowed me to work mainly with adults with once again a varied backgrounds, age and levels.
I would describe myself as professional, hardworking, patient, friendly, easy going and very dedicated.

My teaching methodology is to simply make my lessons engaging and as interesting as possible after all there's nothing worse than a boring lesson. I also want to make my students feel relaxed and to also have my lessons produce a friendly yet productive atmosphere. So that my student isn't afraid to ask questions or to tell me if they don't understand something.
I am very professional and I like to tailor my lessons to suit the student. After all we all learn in different ways, no?

Details
For cancellations I will need 3-4 hour notice due to another student may need/want to book the cancelled lesson slot. If the student fails to give notice then I will still charge for the lesson time due to lost of income because if the student does not inform me of the cancellation. I wont be able to give the canceled slot to another student who may want it and I would lose fees.
