About Jaryd
I am an ESL teacher , I worked in China for 4 years teaching various ages ranging from toddlers ( 3-5 years old ) up to university students and even adults looking to improve their written and spoken english. I have a passion for teaching english and I believe it is always better to be over prepared. I am able to provide my own content to teach and I am available all hours of the day, I hope to meet you soon.

My teaching methods vary depending mainly on the age of the learner or the lesson content I am teaching , I believe that TPR ( Total Physical Response ) is one of the best methods to engage young learners as actions help them understand instructions/words and sentences easier.Visual learners benefit from TPR because it makes it easy to associate words and sentence structures with appropriate movements.
For more advanced lessons I have an archive of lesson plans from parts of speech , vocabulary, accent reduction, improving your business english or even basic english to help you on your next holiday abroad, I also like to use TED talks which enables us to open up interesting discussions amongst myself and my students. I like to base each class on what is most affective in said situation.
