About Elena
Hello! My name is Elena. I'm an artist and teacher living in the city of Bristol, England.
I began teaching English online while living in Vietnam in September 2024. I have been officially teaching since then and have loved meeting, connecting with and helping students achieve their language goals.
I am a Native English speaker. This means I can help you with bridging together your accuracy and fluency and help you communicate effectively, express your opinions and feel confident speaking English like a native!

I am interested in a wide range of topics and love to learn more about you and your culture. I am a friendly, professional, patient and dedicated tutor, offering curated yet casual-feeling lessons. Lessons can be as structured or as informal as you wish, with teaching materials such as videos, grammar practice, reading, listening and other materials provided as necessary.
Lessons can consist of tasks to engage or can be fully conversational.
I have a 150 Hour TEFL qualification, with just over 1 year's official experience teaching. During this time I have helped students pass University entrance exams, study and pass the IELTS and gain employment in the UK. I feel that the key to teaching is to create a comfortable atmosphere, engaging content and a vibrant energy.
Lessons are 1 hour, in which you will have optimal talking time, as well as 10 minutes feedback at the end of the lesson.
My lessons are for anyone at an A2 - C1 level and from ages 12 onwards.
