About Grant
I am a professional ESL tutor with a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature and 17 years of teaching experience. My lessons are designed to help learners of all ages and proficiency levels achieve fluency, comprehension, and confidence in English. I focus on all four language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—while also strengthening vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. Lessons are interactive and practical, using authentic texts, multimedia resources, and real-life scenarios to ensure learning is engaging and meaningful.

ESL lessons with me focus on developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills for all levels. Each session begins with a review of previous material to consolidate learning. Listening practice uses recordings, dialogues, and videos for comprehension. Speaking activities include role-playing, discussions, and pronunciation drills.
Reading exercises focus on comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency. Writing practice covers sentence construction, paragraphs, and short essays. Lessons incorporate real-life situations for practical language use. Classes are interactive and encourage active participation. Homework assignments reinforce concepts learned in class. I provide detailed feedback to track progress and improvement. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and learning style. Confidence-building and practical communication are emphasised.
