About Катя

In 1997 I graduated from V.N. Katazin National University (Kharkiv, Ukraine), with an Honors Diploma in English philology and teaching English as a foreign language. I can teach you at any level including high advanced (C1+), any kind of English from survival to business to ESP (English for professional purposes) - any area, prepare you for IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge exams, improve your fluency and accuracy, help you pass your job interview and much more.

About the lesson

I teach using a combination of tried-and-tested methods: the communicative approach, the task-based approach, the grammar translation approach and many more. We will soon become friends, and you will be thoroughly enjoying the process of mastering the language. I speak English at a near-native level, so I can really improve your skills. I teach all levels. I am the most effective with adults and young adults.

I was lucky to work with Kate in the language school she founded. And I truly recommend Kate as a highly professional ESL teacher, author of her own methods and interesting and efficient ESL learning programs. Kate is really enthusiastic about teaching (either language, or methodology) and can share this enthusiasm with the people around. Take your chance, if you feel like improving your English.

Kate is the best teacher who I have ever met. I was her student for 3 years. She teaches in a way that you don't really notice that you are learning. You are doing interesting things, you speak, you interact, compare, explain why you chose something, sing songs to drill grammar constructions. Later you realise you are C1 . She is super professional.
