Hi, I’m Erykah! It’s nice to meet you! I deliver fun, high quality online French lessons to students 11+. I have been doing this for 5+ years.

We employed Erykah Williams-Mcintosh as an online tutor for our daughter, to help her study for Scottish Higher Exam in French, which she sat in April 2024.

We are so glad that we found Erykah. Our daughter has loved working with her and Erykah is a fantastic tutor. Our daughter came top of her class in the Higher prelim in February 2024.

Erykah is very well-organised and always turns up for the scheduled sessions. She pushed our daughter to improve but did so in a way that our daughter responded to.
As well as helping our daughter with spoken French Erykah also set written homework to help improve grammar and spelling and was proactive and organised in her preparations for all the tutoring sessions.
When she started tutoring our daughter Erykah took the time to understand what we as parents and our daughter hoped to gain from the tutoring and created a plan for the year to achieve those aims.

The structure, feedback and help Erykah provided to our daughter were crucial to the success our daughter achieved this year with her French studies and we hope that Erykah will also be able to provide our daughter with tutoring for the advanced higher French course next year, if our daughter decides to stay for a 6th year at school. We think our daughter found it immensely helpful to have Erykah to practice French with as it is often difficult for a non-native speaker to pick up all the nuances without that sort of assistance.

Our daughter has enjoyed the Higher French course and learning with Erykah so much this year that she is considering looking for a university course that will allow her to study a joint degree in business, finance or accountancy with French.

We have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Erykah as a language tutor.

Erykah taught my daughter Spanish for her GCSE preparation. Erykah’s approach was brilliant, working to understand what my daughter was struggling with and doing a brilliant job to give her confidence for all aspects of the exam. Her knowledge of the subject, exam questions and techniques for the exam really helped my daughter who thought Erykah was brilliant. There is no doubt that my daughter achieving an 8 in her GCSE was significantly helped by Erykah’s tailored approach to coaching.
