About Abbie
I have tutored dozens of times and many different families. The kids I tutor enjoy that they feel more confident and by the end of the lesson they can teach it back it me with ease as it now clicks in their brain. I am in college studying environmental science I have not only learned these things but I have experienced them by fishing and dissecting fish in Alaska and aging deer in Utah by their teeth (much like tree rings deer have lines you can count under a microscope and see how old they are).

At your pace lessons of hard matierals made easier and worded in a way you understand. I enjoy explaining why there is a usual equation or experiment and why it is needed instead of just saying it is that way. While the subject may be difficult knowing the necessity and benefit of knowing this can be of great importance. Many of the science based lessons can answer the why of things like how trees can only be so tall since the water can only go so high from the ground since leaves get water form the roots. This is important so you know that when you water plants it’s best to water from what it seems like the bottom. Fun facts will be included like the redwoods in Californiaget the water by doing something special and taking it from the air which almost no other tree species can do.
