About Calum
During sixth form I spent 2 years tutoring maths to children of all ages at NumberWorks`nWords Hitchin. At university I worked for Bristol Tutors providing one-to-one home tuition for GCSE and A Level students as well as providing small group after school maths lessons for GCSE students at St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School.

We learn maths by solving problems, so in my lessons we work through lots of example questions. I am a very flexible teacher and recognise that everyone thinks and learns differently so am always looking for new ways to explain things. I try to explain my thought process when approaching a problem to give the student the tools they need to succeed on their own
