About James
I am a Structural Engineer with a Civil Engineering Degree from Imperial College London. Having spent the last 3.5 years in engineering consultancy in London, I am now giving specialised tutoring in engineering maths and design. I have spent the last 5 months giving two children private individual lessons, one of which has improved so much that she is being entered into Higher Level Maths GCSE having started at Foundation before we met. I am passionate about education and sharing my practical knowledge and skills with like-minded people!

I am able to give lessons to GCSE and A-Level Maths students, as well as Structural & Civil Engineering Undergraduates needing help with any of their modules.
I am a very patient and honest teacher, basing my lessons around the needs of the student and making sure their goals are achievable and realistic. I like to recieve regular feedback after each lesson - always putting the opinions of my students before my own. Getting to know my students and building a rapport is also something I always strive to do.
Above all, find teaching very rewarding and look forward to meeting and helping as many of you as I can!
