About Jake
I am a psychology graduate looking to share my knowledge and expertise with those who are studying psychology at GCSE, A Level or undergraduate level (AQA exam board only for GCSE and A-Level). I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology, which I achieved a 2:1 in. I will be starting my teacher training in September where I will be teaching Psychology at A Level.
My speciality is in Forensic Psychology, so I will be able to especially help those who are taking the Forensic Psychology option unit in year 13, as well as the other core units. I am more familiar with quantitative research methods rather than qualitative research methods so I can help with all of the maths-related sections of the research methods unit.

My main method of teaching is to ask students what they are struggling with. I will then help students with what they’re struggling to understand, as well as provide additional material/studies which will help them to achieve those higher marks. I use a mixed-method approach which supports the needs of all pupils.
