About Monty
Hi! I'm an undergraduate Philosophy student studying at the University of Birmingham, having a great passion for my subject I am always eager to pass my subject knowledge onto others with Philosophy often being undervalued and misunderstood. In my teaching style I focus upon meeting the assessment objectives as set by the exam board and marrying this to a clear concise writing style. My lessons are largely interactive encouraging the student to realise the answer them self instead of just endlessly lecturing about philosophical concepts which I view as poor for student engagement. Although, most importantly I am a friendly and approachable person and am always open to feedback from my students to help me better personalise their lessons for then. After all, the end goal is to improve their understanding of key philosophical concepts!
