Ben is a wonderful teacher who has completed his PGCE in Further Education and Training at Edge Hill University - he gained a Distinction overall. Ben carried out his training in a Further Education setting and also carried out personal tutor sessions during the Covid lockdown. Ben produced a Professional Standards portfolio of evidence mapped against the EFT (2014). He is a music teacher who can play many instruments and also plays in a band, he is friendly, kind and has a great sense of humour. Academically he is thorough and and researches topics in depth. He is punctual, can manage his time effectively and works well with young people of all ages.

I worked with Ben for the academic period of 2016 – 2017, as his Music Production Project Supervisor for his final year BA Independent Project. During this period I always found Ben to be a hard working and motivated student that was always keen to learn and develop new areas of his creative work. He was a reliable student and has many confident skills, which were consistently demonstrated in the work that he presented.

Ben always demonstrated a very professional attitude towards his work and his polite and considerate manner always made him an individual that was a pleasure to teach. I would have no reservations in recommending Ben for any future employment opportunities.
