About Roshni
I am an enthusiastic tutor and I have been tutoring students for 2 years. I have experience in teaching students over a broad range of ranges for Science and Languages from Reception through to GCSEs. Science and Languages has always been my strong suit and I achieved 9s in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, an A* in GCSE Spanish, and achieved an A in AS level Spanish (scoring 100% in my oral exam).
My students have improved vastly in both their understanding and confidence which can be seen in their results. I also have experience in tutoring young students in primary school with reading and grammar skills as well as English and Maths lessons for students sitting entrance exams for secondary school admissions.
Having also gone through the admissions process for university recently and secured a seat to study Medicine I am also helping students with personal statements, interview preparations and Medical entrance exams such as the UCAT.

In my opinion, it is vital for online lessons to be interactive and engaging as it is easy to lose concentration which is why I use a variety methods such as games, quizzes and videos to make lessons more fun while still being dense with information.
I try my best to make my lessons as varied as possible using Powerpoints, games, online resources and an interactive whiteboard. This makes lessons more fun which will lead to students enjoying the process of learning difficult concepts.
Once my students feel confident they are familiar with the information learnt, I like to set homework and closed book questions and go through them in class so the student and I can identify areas of improvement and track our progress.
