About Andrew
Hi future students,
My name is Andrew, I have just completed my A-level exams and I am going to be studying aerospace engineering at university. I am a happy, confident and patient tutor with my main satisfaction being that my students have benefitted from my teaching. I enjoy helping others out and especially with something like education, knowing I would have a positive effect on someones future is my primary goal. This is why tutoring is the perfect job for me and I aim to do it well.

I have previously worked at Bradley Tuition as a teaching assistant for 11+ students for about a year and have picked up a few ways in which I can approach tutoring.
Generally, my lessons would begin with a starter activity and small explanations that are needed before going forward with a particular topic. This way the student is fully equipped with the knowledge necessary to find the topic significantly easier. Throughout the main part of the lesson, I display a much more engaging environment where I am teaching and asking questions along the way. Then towards the end, the student will be attempting many practice questions, as practicing your maths skills is key to success, and of course I will be there to support when needed.
The length of the lesson would normally be 1 hour but I am open to 1 hour 30 minutes or even 45 minutes if requested.
I am happy to tutor between ages 12-16. (GCSE level and below)
