Firstly, I think the most important part of being a tutor is developing a good relationship with the student. In the first lesson, i focus on the individual students areas of weakness and gain a better understanding of what it is, that they want to achieve- also, the first lesson is free. From then on, I continue to work on the students areas of weaknesses, until the student feels confident to move on to a different topic.
