About Lucy
I am a book lover in many genres, that simply enjoys talking and discussing English Literature. I am soft-spoken and flexible with anyone I talk to. I am a big fan of anime, horror movies and also video games. My favourite animal (or should I say amphibian) are frogs, I would love to have one as a pet one day. I enjoy listening to people and learning about them and their own interests, being friendly to anyone I talk to is my motto no matter their interest or personality. I would also love to hear concerns and hobbies you enjoy so I can implement them into my teaching. My future goal is to be able to teach English, however, I am unsure of what level I would love to teach. I'm hoping to be able to tutor you will allow me to gain more experience and access into what kind of students are out there and where I feel I can help in teaching the most in the future.

My methodology is to make students comfortable and enjoy the subject, even if it isn't their passion, ensure they understand it in their own unique way and over time develop their own ideas and slowly see their improvements allowing them to gain confidence.
I can be flexible with times depending on the student, I am able to work from 30 minutes to an hour or even a little longer if needed (although may depend on my University timetable).
I am a second-year University of Exeter student, studying English, reading and writing is something I enjoy and care about greatly.
I have recently finished a CoachBright volunteering course, coaching students online with English and it helped me see how to see what students struggle within English and also areas they enjoy and can develop into areas they struggle with. My students enjoyed my lessons; I also enjoyed the company of the student too.
I can work with levels from primary all the way to A-level.
