About Teylor
(version française plus bas) Combining my passion for working with children and my love for learning has allowed me to develop into a well-rounded tutor, cultivating lasting relationships with students and parents. I have often tutored the same student through multiple subjects or had their siblings in the same or other subjects. On a personal note, I have been working in the marketing and digital fields for over 5 years; I enjoy sports and the outdoors, a great book and a cup of coffee. And finally, I am the proud momma of twins that are about a year and a half old. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- L'alliance de ma passion de travailler avec les enfants et mon amour pour l'apprentissage m'a permis de devenir une tuteure complète, cultivant des relations de longue durée avec les élèves et les parents. (version française plus bas) I thrive on finding the way each student learns best and adapting my teaching methods accordingly, all while trying to keep subjects interesting and the student captivated. I have tutored from kindergarten prep, through to college level classes. Subjects I have experience with are as follows: Math, French, English, English as a second language, French as a second language, elementary and high school science, high school chemistry and physics, linear algebra, statistics (IM and QM), and potentially more. Lastly, I continuously ensure that my personal knowledge of the subjects is as up to date and that the examples, exercises, test preparation and more are relevant. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Je m'acharne à trouver la manière dont chaque élève apprend et j'adapte mes méthodes d'enseignement en conséquence, tout en essayant de garder les sujets intéressants et l'élève captivé. J'ai travaillé avec des élèves de toutes âges: de la maternelle, au cégep. Les matières avec lesquelles j'ai de l'expérience sont les suivantes : mathématiques, français, anglais, anglais langue seconde, français langue seconde, sciences aux niveaux primaire et secondaire, chimie et physique au secondaire, algèbre linéaire, statistiques (IM et QM), et potentiellement plus. Enfin, je vois à ce que ma connaissance des matières soit à jour et que les exemples, exercices, examens préparatoires, etc. demeurent pertinents.
