About Ferrari
I am a 20 year old English Literature and Journalism (BAHons) student in my third year, passionate about literature and writing (especially poetry!). I enjoy tutoring as I want to progress into the educational field and become a fulltime literature teacher, and so this is perfect practise. I also love being able to debate literature and discuss text interpretations with others, which is a key component of being successful in Literature studies. My classes are designed for anyone preparing for upcoming English Literature tests or just looking to improve their reading and writing abilities. Generally a lesson plan will consist of the student reading an assigned text before the session (depending on what level we are working at), or co-operatively reading a shorter text, prose or poem during the session, and being assisted in answering questions confidently. Feedback-based learning allows the student to develop their interpretational skills and responses to both classical and modernist literature in order to improve inference skills and contextual knowledge that can be applied to any text.
