About Matthew
At A-level I achieved all A*'s in maths, physics and chemistry, winning the school chemistry prize. I am now graduated from the University of Bristol with a 1st class honours degree in chemistry. The first lesson is free of charge and an opportunity to establish the student's current understanding so we can construct a personal learning plan together.

As a chemistry MSci graduate from the University of Bristol with a first-class honours degree, I understand the learning approach required for academic success. I lead engaging lessons tailored to the student's needs, designed to help build confidence and develop their potential to achieve the top grades. Lessons are taught through a combination of instruction and guided work, concluding with a brief review and a discussion of the next topic to be covered. I offer 1-hour tutoring lessons in A-level and GCSE Chemistry, though I am more than happy to run extended tutoring sessions if the student feels able. I am genuinely excited by the opportunity to share my love for chemistry with another student and mentor them to success. It is a wonderful subject that opens many doors :)
