About Chrystelle

I am a fun, enthusiastic and compassionate teacher. I have experience in teaching both children and adults in the English language. I am TESOL qualified and I am also a graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University.

I enjoy travel, culture and food :) I have lived in Thailand but I am now back in the UK.

I also love animals especially cats, my cat may occasionally pop into class :)

I really enjoy learning languages and can speak intermediate Thai and beginner (still learning) Mandarin, I therefore fully understand how difficult it can be to learn a new language, I relate to your struggles and can help you on your language learning journey.

I really put an emphasis on making class fun and engaging as I feel this best helps a student remember what they are learning. I want to build your confidence to USE the language skills you're learning. Confidence is key! Sometimes we want to be perfect so we feel scared to speak until we are "word-perfect" but it's important to try to speak even when we are not grammatically correct, the more speak, the less we are embarrassed to speak and the better we become.

Remember... we learn through our language mistakes, sometimes the funny or embarrassing language mistakes are the ones we remember the most and therefore we learn from them.

About the lesson

Learning languages can be hard (and sometimes boring) I want to make this a fun, enjoyable experience. Usually, when we're having fun, we're learning and most importantly, remembering!

How do you like to learn? Through conversation, games, tests or even music...

What are your goals? Conversation, basic grammar, business, relationships, fluency, accent, using expressions and idioms to increase naturalness, to pass an IELTS test...

Whatever they are I can help you by adapting the class to suit YOUR learning style.

I also have experience helping students practice for their IELTS examination.

I am a fun, enthusiastic and compassionate teacher. I have taught both children and adults.
