As a maths tutor, I believe in a personalised approach that focuses on understanding the core concepts rather than rote memorisation. My techniques involve breaking down complex problems into simpler, more manageable steps, ensuring that students grasp each concept before moving on. I use real-life examples to illustrate the relevance of maths in everyday situations, making the subject more engaging and relatable. My teaching methodology also includes plenty of practice problems to reinforce learning and build confidence. A typical lesson with me lasts about an hour, allowing enough time for explanation, practice, and any questions the student may have. I have a degree in Mathematics and over five years of experience tutoring students of various ages and levels, from elementary school to college.
